Retire all Mahout versions < 0.11.0 to archives ?

We presently have 6 releases on the apache distro mirrors from 0.10.2 -
0.12.1, way more than the 3 that Apache Infra would normally permit.

0.11.0 includes all of 0.10.2, I don't see why we can't purge 0.10.2.

I guess the book talks about 0.10.x and hence we may need to keep that
around, correct?

0.11.0 is same version as 0.10.2 and includes all fixes from 0.10.2, so I would vote to purge 0.10.2

The book covers 0.10 and 0.11. The main 0.10 stuff is about building from source .. specifically checking out the tree and building from the 0.10.1 tag.
IMO it would be good to keep 0.10.2 binaries around as long as no one is barking at the door. Also good if anyone is running an old spark version. (0.10.x is spark < 1.3). Not sure how much of a concern that is though.
Maybe if we need to we can drop 0.11.0 and 0.12.0? I cant remember if 0.11.0 is the only version that is Spark 1.4 of the top of my head or not.

yes
The only difference being the spark version which is < 1.3 for 0.10.2.
But that is probably a non issue at this point.
So the binaries would be available from the archive then?
